“Three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?”

Ingredients: 

  • 3 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • 1/2 oz Lillet Blanc
  • Thin lemon twist

Instructions: 

Stir all ingredients well with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 3/4 oz Fresh ginger syrup
  • 1/2 oz Fresh lime juice
  • Club soda
  • Candied ginger & lime wedge for garnish

Instructions: 

To make fresh ginger syrup, grate desired amount of fresh ginger, squeeze through a cheese cloth, then combine with superfine sugar.

Shake all ingredients except club soda with ice, pour into a high ball filled with ice (or copper mug). Top with club soda, lime wedges and candied ginger.

If you love a  Bloody Mary but don’t have the patience for 10+ ingredients…


Ingredients: 

  • 2 oz Vodka (or Gin if you prefer)
  • 1 oz Tomato juice*
  • 1/2 oz olive brine
  • 3 drops Tabasco
  • Black pepper rim (optional)

Instructions: 

Dip a side of the martini glass in lemon and black pepper. Mix all of the ingredients and let stand on ice for 30 seconds. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass. Adjust spiciness with extra Tabasco.

 

*We prefer using V8 juice which mixes tomato with a bunch of other veggies for a more robust flavor profile.
