Inspired by Oaxaca, made in Philly.


Ingredients: 

  • 1 1/2 oz Reposado Tequila
  • 1/2 oz Mezcal
  • 1/2 oz Cilantro syrup*
  • 1/4 oz Lime juice
  • 3 oz Tazo “Passion” Iced Tea
  • Sprig of cilantro for garnish

Instructions: 

Shake all ingredients with ice. Pour into a double rocks glass and garnish with a sprig of cilantro.


*To make cilantro syrup dissolve 1/2 cup of sugar in a saucepan with 1 cup of water. Add 1-2 cups of fresh cilantro. Let sit for about half an hour. Strain into a spare jar or bottle.

Mandarin Old Fashioned

Mandarin Old Fashioned

Ingredients: 

  • 1 1/2 oz Reposado tequila
  • 1/2 oz Mezcal
  • 1/2 oz Mandarin juice
  • 1 bar spoon honey syrup
  • 2 dashes cardamom bitters
  • 1 sugar cube

Instructions: 

In a double rocks glass, muddle sugar cube with bitters. In a separate glass filled with ice, stir remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over bitters and sugar. Garnish with a mandarin twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Reposado tequila
  • 1/2 oz Mezcal
  • 1 tsp Agave nectar
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Flamed orange peel for garnish

Instructions:

Stir all ingredients over ice.  Strain into a double rocks glass over 1 large ice cube. Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
