Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 o Del Maguey Vida Mezcal
  •  3/4 oz Campari
  • 1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur
  • 3/4 oz lime juice
  • grapefruit twist

Instructions:

Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Express oils of grapefruit peel over drink.

The Brave

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz blanco tequila
  • 1/2 oz Averna
  • 1/4 oz Royal Combier
  • Mist of angostura & flamed orange peel for garnish

Instructions:

Build ingredients in a wine glass. Swirl to combine. Mist sides evenly with angostura bitters and garnish with a flamed orange peel.

Manzañilla Sylvestre

Manzanilla Sylvestre

This refreshing cocktail hails from Mezcalito in San Francisco.


Ingredients: 

  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 1 oz Lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz citrus chamomile tea syrup
  • lemon twist

Instructions: 

Shake all ingredients with ice then double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Citrus- Chamomile Syrup: 

Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup hot water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce quickly and let simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add 1-2 bags of citrus chamomile tea. Allow to steep at room temperature for 24 hours. Remove tea bags and store syrup in the fridge when not in use.

Oaxacanite

Ingredients: 

  • 1 oz Tequila (original calls for blanco but we used reposado here)
  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 3/4 oz Honey syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp Angostura bitters
  • Grapefruit twist

Instructions: 

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
