Manzanilla Sylvestre

This refreshing cocktail hails from Mezcalito in San Francisco.


Ingredients: 

  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 1 oz Lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz citrus chamomile tea syrup
  • lemon twist

Instructions: 

Shake all ingredients with ice then double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Citrus- Chamomile Syrup: 

Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup hot water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce quickly and let simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add 1-2 bags of citrus chamomile tea. Allow to steep at room temperature for 24 hours. Remove tea bags and store syrup in the fridge when not in use.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz American Gin (preferably Bluecoat)
  • 1/2 oz Lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz St. Germain
  • Handful of blueberries
  • Two cherries
  • Prosecco to top

Instructions: 

Muddle a small handful of blueberries and two cherries in a shaker. Add gin, lemon, and St. Germain. Shake vigorously with ice and strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Top with prosecco and blueberries.
