Harry Craddock is credited for creating this classic cocktail at the Savoy Hotel in London in 1920. His 1930 publication The Savoy Cocktail Book is a beautiful piece of cocktail history. While getting your hands on an original will cost you a pretty penny, it’s worth taking a look at a reprint!
